Women of Achievement Benefit Luncheon

Naomi Tutu
The YWCA of Spokane will again honor local women who excel in their field of expertise and whose achievements have had a powerful effect on our community with the 2012 YWCA Women of Achievement Awards. The awards will be presented at the 30th annual Women of Achievement Benefit Luncheon on October 25, 2012.

“Since 1982, we have been proud to honor the amazing contributions of more than 175 individuals with the YWCA Women of Achievement Awards,”  explained Trish McFarland, Executive Director, YWCA Spokane. “We are excited to commemorate the past achievements of so many powerful women in our community.”

The 30th annual YWCA Women of Achievement Benefit Luncheon will feature the inspirational story of keynote speaker Naomi Tutu, daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. She will speak on the challenges and opportunities of having grown up as “the daughter of…” which inspired her to become a catalyst for positive change.
